Hello! I’m Karla Rosario!
I’ve always loved doodling, drawing, and using my creative juices for gifts for friends and family. In 2019, I finally started to take it more seriously, *cough* practice *cough*, and committed myself to exploring and developing my artistic skills.
I’m a mixed media artist playing with paper, inks, markers, watercolors, and even digitally on my tablet. As a self taught artist I am constantly challenging myself to push beyond my limits, learn new techniques, and experiment with different styles. I have a deep desire to continue to learn and to create pieces from epically stunning to heartwarming. Being queer, I love showcasing queerness in my art because as a good friend put it “THE GAYBIES NEED CANON LITERATURE”.
Between commissions and freelancing, I love to work on personal projects, drawing goals, and art inspired by the latest media I’m obsessing over. Besides art, I love reading, animation, D&D, and boardgaming. Oh, and occasionally I send things to space! Born in Puerto Rico, raised in Colorado, I currently in Santa Rosa, California with my partner and our two beautiful baby bois (the bestest cats around).
